A thumping ripsnoter of a night! Chris Bennett celebrated his 60th birthday with a room full of sweating, gyrating funster and a band that was on fire....

The Sofa Kings were in top form, pumping out numbers like "Stray Cats Strut","Lets Stick Together",Mustang Sally","La Grange"Sultans Of Swing"...Anyone who didn't have a grin on their face,an itch in their shoes or a verse or two of familiar songs bursting from their lips must have been Vacous from the ears up.

These guys know how to get a dance floor humming- so much so Paul on harmonica stopped the band a few bars into one song so he could leap off stage to ge into the action while he kept on playing! all credit to him staying on tune while one eager "fan" tried to use him as pole dancing accessory: a lesser mortal would have produced high pitched squeaks from their instrument (harmonica That is ).

The Kings played for hours with only short breaks to recharge; not like some other entertainers wo think 45 minute breaks between sets are ok...keeep an eye out for their next gig- you'll go away  with a good feeling that will last all week!
